I am 30 years old and have decided that it is time to reconnect with my faith. I feel as though I have been stuck in the daily grind of life and I need to take some time to slow down and reconnect with the church and my faith. I plan to visit your church and ask that you pray for me so that I might find a place in your community and find my faith again.

I just got done talking with Maria Cardella, their house had a tree land on it from this last week's storm. No one was hurt but there was some serious damage, and with the exception of feeding their cat they cannot use their home. Currently the Cardella's are living in a hotel and awaiting the insurance company to help get the repairs done on their home. They are grateful that everyone is safe, but would appreciate any and all prayers as they deal with this situation.

I have a prayer request for my wife (Melissa) and her family. Her dad lives in S.C. and has been homebound and sick for two years. Within the past week he has taken a turn for the worse and is currently in the ICU. He has terminal lung disease and the doctors have said that he is in the end-stage. Upon hearing this Melissa flew down to Charleston on Monday morning. The only family is Melissa and her brother, who is preparing to be deployed to Afghanistan. I spoke with her last night and she is VERY upset......the prognosis is not good. Melissa is saved and loves and trusts our God. Her father is not and I'm not sure of his hope.Please lift up everyone involved and for God's will to be done. I thank you in the name of our lord Jesus Christ.
Please pray for me. I have been battling depression for the past 3 yrs. I feel so hopeless , without purpose and empty. The Saddest thing is I have been a christian for 10 yrs. I know the word and truth. I just wish I could shake this feeling. I feel like I need pretend to be fulfilled when Im not. As though it is my Christian duty to be joyful and it is a sin to feel the way I have been.So I go through the motions of Church. I love The Lord, I know He loves me. I want to please Him with my life. But Ive lost something along the way. Please pray I will have a break through. And the spirit of depression be lifted from me and my household.
Dear Friends, My brother who is very healthy stated having a really bad headache a few days ago. They found out that he has a brain tumor. He is in the hospital and they are doing tests and will be doing surgery in the next day to remove it. Please pray for my brother, Bill, his wife, Phyllis, and their family for no complications and safe removeval of the tumor.. thank you rose hopkins
My sister Judy fell and broke three fingers, and bruised her entire left side. She would like prayer that she won't have any long lasting after effects, and that the pain will be manageable. She lives in Scarborough Maine. Thank you.
For those who know me, I am getting married to Fernando (another CPCC member) this September. My uncle in Australia has been trying hard to get a visa approved to be here for the wedding. He's the one who will be "giving me away" God willing his visa application is accepted. Please, please pray on this! He is having a hard time because he was born in Indonesia and lives in Australia with an Australian greencard.
Please pray for me..I broke it off with my boyfriend the other night because I feel inadequate and do not know how to interact with his x-wife if she comes to get their girls. Please pray for healing for my heart..I do love this man and I know he has loved me. I try to worship and all I do is cry. I have battled depression for such a long time. Please feel free to pass this prayer request along to others. There have been nights I have awoken and the presence of darkness is thick and intimidating. Please pray for my sister, her family as well as myself/spouse. She has had quite a challenge with her marriage over the past few years. She has a auto that is not safe for road and doesn't hardly run. She is having a hard time keeping a job due to no transportation. We are running her around and drivng her when/where she needs to go, but it is becoming a burden on us emotionally/financially. Her husband doesn't seem to care nor is willing to give her enough money for groceries. We also help with that as well. She does go to church and is a Christian. Thank you..
I have another prayer request for Mateo. He has always struggled with sleep issues. Me and my husband are getting very little sleep, which makes us grouchy, and in return our kids grouchy. I get depressed when I'm overtired. Not to mention it isn't good for young kids to go without sleep for their own health. Basically, everyone is miserable. I am beyond frustrated and very confused about what to do. Please pray that we can find some solution and quickly. And pray for our own state of mind (sanity!) until things get better. Thank you.
Good news: We have a great in-home team with good ideas on how to manage Mateo's issues. We have a respite provider that takes him out places so we can have a break. And Mateo has been learning some coping techniques (during the day) to deal with his overwhelming feelings.
